Zine Making Open House
Join Jasper Richmus and writer, zine-maker, and visual artist Jacinta Bunnell for a drop in Zine Making Open House! Running concurrently with our exhibition, Summer’s Luscious Party and pop-up Zine Library this drop in open house will give participants the opportunity to design, create, and take-home copies of a small zine!
Zines are small publications that are often photocopied. They are D.I.Y. magazines about anything—lists, letters, true stories, fiction, how-tos, call-ins, gripes, etc.
Zines are an excellent vehicle for people of all ages to showcase their interests, art, and passions. During this open house, visitors will have an opportunity to design and create small zines to take home, allowing people to express themselves, discover their voices, and unleash creativity!
